My 1972 Volkswagen was in pretty rough rough shape and needed several panels replaced, but I wanted to make it new again in memory of my father who had passed away 3 years ago. My father purchased a 1955 Volkswagen when I was 13 and gave it to me when I got my drivers license. I tried to match the paint of that 55 oval as best I could remember and I believe I got it right. You all were great at supplying parts for the restoration. THANK YOU all at Mid-America Motorworks.
