I have wanted to own a VW Bug for as long as I can remember. I have told my three children that if I didn't have a VW Bug by the time I was 50 I would get a bug tattoo.
One day before my 50th, I got my first tattoo. Little did I know my recently High School graduate son was at a auction buying me a 1970 Bug that very day. Turns out, I got the tattoo and the VW Bug.
The car is currently being restored by high school auto body students at the Career Center I teach at in Ohio. Hoping to have it finished by next year.
